Meet The authors

Robert Geiman, DDS, MA, MS

Dr. Robert “Bobby” Geiman, a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, is full-time in private practice on the Connecticut shoreline. He is also an attending at Yale-New Haven Hospital, where he teaches residents on a variety of topics, including facial growth and development, orthodontic diagnosis, and orthodontic treatment planning. Dr. Geiman received his dental training at Columbia University where he completed a dual degree program: Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) and MA (Master of Arts in Dental Education). He went on to further his education at the University of Maryland’s orthodontic program. If he’s not doing something related to teeth, you can catch him playing tennis, skiing, bird watching, or spending time with his family.

MICHAEL SULTAN, DDS

Dr. Michael Sultan is a board-certified pediatric dentist who received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from New York University: College of Dentistry, graduating with honors and induction in Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the National Dental Honor Society. He completed his post-graduate training in the specialty of Pediatric Dentistry at Yale New Haven Hospital. Dr. Sultan has published research articles in both domestic and international dental journals. He currently serves as Program Director for Yale New Haven Hospital’s Pediatric Dental Residency program where he oversees the care of thousands of children annually while simultaneously training the next generation of pediatric dentists.
